The Platform may include, among other things:

  • candidate registration
  • candidate profiles
  • CV uploads
  • job listings
  • job applications
  • employer accounts
  • talent pool access
  • sports-industry career content
  • job matching or recommendation features
  • communication between Candidates and Employers

NextSportJobs is a technical platform and does not act as an employer, recruitment agency, employment contract party, legal adviser, tax adviser or immigration adviser.

NextSportJobs does not guarantee that a Candidate will receive an interview, job offer or employment, and does not guarantee that an Employer will find suitable candidates.

3. Eligibility

The Platform is intended for Users who are at least 18 years old.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms.

Employers using the Platform on behalf of an organisation confirm that they are authorised to act for that organisation.

4. Candidate Accounts

Candidates may create an account and provide information for the purpose of finding jobs or being discovered by Employers.

Candidates are responsible for ensuring that all information in their profile, CV and applications is accurate, complete, up to date and lawful.

Candidates must not upload false, misleading, offensive, unlawful or irrelevant content.

Candidates should not upload sensitive personal information unless it is strictly necessary for a specific application. This includes, for example, health information, religious beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, biometric data, criminal records or other sensitive information.

NextSportJobs may remove, hide or restrict Candidate Content if it appears unlawful, misleading, harmful, irrelevant, excessive or in breach of these Terms.

5. Candidate Profile and CV Visibility

Candidates may be able to choose how visible their profile and CV are on the Platform. Possible visibility options may include:

  1. Private Profile — The Candidate profile is visible only to the Candidate and NextSportJobs for account management purposes.
  2. Application-Only Visibility — The Candidate profile, CV and application materials are shared only with Employers to whom the Candidate applies.
  3. Talent Pool Visibility — The Candidate allows verified Employers to discover and view selected profile information.
  4. Anonymous or Limited Visibility — The Candidate allows Employers to view limited information, such as skills, experience, preferred roles or availability, without full contact details.

Changing profile visibility may not affect applications already submitted or information already shared with Employers.

Candidates are responsible for checking their profile visibility settings before uploading information or applying for jobs.

6. Applying for Jobs

When a Candidate applies for a Job Post through NextSportJobs, the Candidate authorises NextSportJobs to transmit the Candidate's application, CV, profile details and related information to the relevant Employer.

Candidates should carefully review all application materials before submitting them.

NextSportJobs does not control how Employers review, process or respond to applications. Employers are solely responsible for their hiring decisions, application processes, interviews, job offers and employment terms.

NextSportJobs does not guarantee that an application will be received, reviewed, answered or accepted.

7. Employer Accounts

Employers may create an account to publish Job Posts, receive applications or access candidate-related services.

Employers must provide accurate and truthful information about their organisation, contact details, job opportunities and recruiting activities.

NextSportJobs may require Employers to verify their identity, company, organisation, email domain, website or authority to recruit.

NextSportJobs may refuse, suspend or remove Employer accounts that appear fake, misleading, fraudulent, inactive, harmful or non-compliant with these Terms.

8. Job Posting Rules

Employers are solely responsible for their Job Posts. Job Posts must be accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory and not misleading.

Employers must clearly describe relevant job information, including where applicable: job title, organisation name, location, remote or on-site status, contract type, employment or event-based status, working time, salary or unpaid nature, required skills, language requirements, application process, and start/end date for event-based roles.

Employers must not post fake jobs, misleading opportunities, discriminatory job ads, unpaid roles disguised as paid roles, roles that violate applicable laws, scams or pyramid schemes, or content unrelated to sports-industry recruitment.

NextSportJobs may remove, edit, reject, limit or hide Job Posts at its discretion, especially where a Job Post may be unlawful, misleading, low quality, harmful, irrelevant or contrary to the purpose of the Platform.

9. Employer Responsibility for Candidate Data

Employers may use Candidate data only for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Employers must not: sell or scrape Candidate data; publish Candidate data externally; use Candidate data for unrelated marketing; contact Candidates for unrelated commercial purposes; store Candidate data longer than necessary; share Candidate data with unauthorised third parties; discriminate against Candidates unlawfully; or use Candidate information in violation of data protection laws.

Once Candidate data has been shared with an Employer, the Employer is responsible for handling that data in accordance with applicable data protection, labour and anti-discrimination laws.

10. No Role in Hiring Decisions

NextSportJobs does not make hiring decisions. Employers are solely responsible for deciding which Candidates to contact, interview, reject or hire, and what employment or project terms to offer.

Any information, ranking, recommendation, label, badge, search result or match shown on the Platform is for informational purposes only and does not replace independent review.

11. AI, Automation and Matching Features

NextSportJobs may use automated tools or AI-assisted features to improve the Platform. These tools may assist with structuring CV information, suggesting relevant jobs or candidates, improving search results, creating summaries, improving job categorisation, and detecting spam or misuse.

AI-assisted results may be incomplete, inaccurate or imperfect. Users must independently check any information before relying on it.

NextSportJobs does not use AI as the final decision-maker for hiring. Employers remain responsible for all recruitment and hiring decisions.

12. User Content

Users retain ownership of the content they upload or submit.

By uploading User Content, Users grant NextSportJobs a limited right to use, host, store, display, transmit, process, reproduce and technically adapt that content as necessary to operate and improve the Platform.

Users must not upload content that is unlawful; infringes intellectual property rights; contains malware; is defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or offensive; contains false or misleading information; violates privacy rights; or is unrelated to the purpose of the Platform.

NextSportJobs may remove or restrict User Content if it violates these Terms or may create legal, security or reputational risks.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, job application systems, employer websites, payment providers, analytics tools, communication tools or other external services.

NextSportJobs is not responsible for third-party websites, content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms or actions. If Users leave the Platform or use third-party services, they do so at their own risk.

15. Availability and Changes to the Platform

NextSportJobs is an early-stage platform and may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended or removed.

NextSportJobs does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent storage of content or permanent access to any feature.

Users should keep their own copies of important CVs, applications, job posts, messages and documents.

16. Free Use and Future Paid Services

At the current stage, some or all services may be offered free of charge. NextSportJobs may introduce paid services in the future, including paid Employer accounts, job posting fees, subscription plans, talent pool access, featured job listings, recruitment tools, and employer branding packages.

Before any paid service is introduced, the relevant pricing, billing terms, cancellation rules and payment conditions will be provided separately. Users are not obliged to use future paid services unless they expressly choose to purchase them.

17. Suspension and Termination

NextSportJobs may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Platform if a User: breaches these Terms; provides false or misleading information; misuses Candidate or Employer data; posts unlawful or discriminatory content; creates legal or security risks; harms other Users or the Platform; uses the Platform for spam, fraud or scams; or violates applicable laws.

Users may stop using the Platform at any time and may request account deletion. Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

18. Privacy and Data Protection

The use of personal data on NextSportJobs is explained in the Privacy Policy, which describes what personal data is collected, why it is collected, legal bases for processing, how CVs and applications are processed, when Candidate data is shared with Employers, how long data is stored, user rights under data protection law, and contact details for privacy requests.

Users should read the Privacy Policy carefully before creating an account, uploading a CV or applying for jobs.

19. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, structure, branding, text, logos, graphics, software, databases and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the operator of NextSportJobs, unless otherwise stated.

Users may use the Platform only for its intended purpose. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, license, modify or exploit Platform content without permission, except where legally allowed.

The name "NextSportJobs" and related branding may not be used without permission.

20. Disclaimer

NextSportJobs provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis and does not guarantee that job posts are accurate or current; that Employers or Candidates are suitable; that applications will be delivered or reviewed; that Users will receive job offers or interviews; that the Platform will always be available; or that matching and recommendation features will be accurate.

Users are responsible for verifying information before relying on it. Candidates should verify Employers, job offers, contracts and working conditions before making decisions. Employers should independently verify Candidate information, qualifications and suitability.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, NextSportJobs is not liable for damages resulting from: incorrect or misleading User Content; Employer hiring decisions; Candidate decisions; failed applications; lost job opportunities; lack of responses; third-party websites or tools; unauthorised use of User accounts; temporary unavailability of the Platform; loss of data where Users failed to keep their own copies; or misuse of the Platform by other Users.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or mandatory statutory liability.

22. Indemnity

Users agree to hold NextSportJobs harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities and costs arising from their unlawful use of the Platform, their User Content, their breach of these Terms or their violation of third-party rights.

This applies especially to Employers who post unlawful job ads, misuse Candidate data or violate employment, tax, immigration, data protection or anti-discrimination laws.

23. Reporting Misuse

Users may report unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, fake or suspicious content by contacting:

Email: info@nextsportjobs.com

NextSportJobs may review reports and take action where appropriate, including removing content, restricting visibility, warning Users, suspending or deleting accounts.

24. Changes to These Terms

NextSportJobs may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the Platform with the date of the latest update.

If changes are material, NextSportJobs may notify registered Users by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective means that the User accepts the updated Terms.
